MOTHERLOAD

When you left me

I was broken

A million little pieces

Glued back together

Sometimes they crumble

But I mend and repair

Mend and repair

The void so big

A bottomless pit

And helpless sadness

Washes through my veins

A life full of love and community

Yet the hole at the centre of my being

Never seems to replenish

Since you left me
